PGA Apprentice Teaching Professional/ UNM Golf Courses GM

Born and raised in Albuquerque.  Graduate from St. Pius X High School as well as Anderson School of Management at UNM.  I started playing the game of golf at the age of 11 and am currently in the PGA PGM program. As a golf professional, I strive to connect with every student using unique and effective teaching methods.  PGA professionals do not teach golf, PGA professionals teach people how to play golf.  Golf is not a game of perfect and practice does not make perfect.  If you are interested in learning more about my teaching styles, please contact me as soon as possible.

PGA Apprentice B-1/Tournament Director/North Golf Course Manager

I started playing golf at the age of 8, tagging along with my dad to the golf course. It was not until High School that I took a more serious approach to golf. In college, at UNM, I discovered that golf was not just a hobby but a passion. After graduating from UNM with my BS in Geography I joined the PGA PGM program. As a teacher I strive to keep a fun, relaxed atmosphere and work with students to find a swing that works best for them. I enjoy working with all talents, especially beginners and Juniors!

My motto "Rule 35: Have Fun."

PGA Apprentice

My journey began when I was 8 years old. I won my first junior tournament at age 10 and at that moment while I was holding the trophy, I looked at my Dad and said “ I want to be a Professional Golfer”. I won many junior and amateur tournaments including the U.S Girls Junior and the U.S. Women’s Amateur. I also achieved  “Rookie of the Year” in 2000 on the LPGA Tour and Played Professionally up till 2012 with 5 wins under my belt. I am a member of the LPGA Tour and a PGA Apprentice. I started teaching in 2012 and it’s great to teach people the game that has blessed me so much in career and in life. Golf is a beautiful game and I would love to help you experience it the way I do .
